did you post that article on your most excellent action from within the Jury's hotel using one of those total telecommunication kiosks that boast fax, email and telephone services for not less than the not insubstantial sum of an english pound a minute?
or was it a WAP connection?
or was it bluetooth?
or was it the old fashioned call up the newsdesk and give copy spelling out any u-n-u-s-u-a-l words and giving tips on pronunciation?

Sorry to be a little bit inquisitive here, but did this actually take place? There is no mention of it on the UK IMC newswire (or the Manchester subsection), or no mention of the group involved in the action. No followup post about what happened, highly unlikely also that someone would have been able to post "we are getting thrown out now" onto a computer and then send it to Indymedia if they were genuinely being thrown out.

Actual information is a bit sparse, you know?

This action definitely did happen. About eight of us from the nw of england visited the hotel in manc. After wandering around giving out leaflets and putting them in all the hotel rooms and staff areas we ended up in the foyer. Some of us then blocked the way to the reception desk with a banner reading Jurys Supporting The Torture Trade. While we were doing this others used a computer in the foyer to send a report to indymedia After a while the police turned up and were there usual grumpy selves. We left after a while. Sorry no pictures the person who was going to bring a camera did not turn up. Also we just have not got around to posting the report any where else and most of us do not have computers at home.
We had lots of fun maybe we will visit again.
