According to the corporate media news lines 10,000+ people have gathered for the Stop Bush protest in Dublin. More are joining the march all the time.
RTE are reporting 500 people at the AWI protest in Shannon.
No news of the other demos.
Sky news say only 2000 in Dublin. Stop inflating the figures and telling lies you are doing yourselves no favours

Now I'm telling lies.
All those figures are ridiculously low.
Who's going to correct me?
Don't mind Sky News. RTE have said that there were 10,000 on the Dublin protest. That is a good figure for a Friday evening.
I missed what they said about the numbers at Shannon.
There were protests in other cities and towns but I have not heard the details.
nice evening was a quite a large number at it
rbb said 20,000 nes said 3,000 so somewhere in the middle of that about it was a big crowd stretched a long way through town, boy did they have a good sound sytem this time you could here rbb's voice booming around the city....
meanwhile i had me walkman on to heaer what was happening in shannon im sure it was more fun there....
havn't seen this elsewhere on the wire but saw bit of video of that blonde one who always on the bike having being arrested in shannon terminal "with a knife" probably functional penknife....
Very lively and good humoured. Did a count on the way to the airport, just over 1,100 on demo. Cops were quoting 750 to journalists on the scene.Between 200 and 300 people from Shannon participate, many young people and many people bringing their children. Many more Shannon people came out along the route to offer support. This was despite widespread rumours around Shannon today that there was going to be trouble at the demo. Cops seemed really embarrassed by the over the top security measures.
Thanks for keeping up the heat on Bush. Denying him photo ops from countries that are close allies makes him look bad. Best of luck demilitarising your airport too.
