The Covid Inquiry is Actively Suppressing Scientific Evidence Sun Feb 09, 2025 09:00 | Dr Andrew Bamji
The Covid Inquiry is being led by the wrong experts (lawyers) who are asking the wrong questions of the wrong people. It's not only ignoring scientific evidence but actively suppressing it, says Dr Andrew Bamji.

I was one of those protesters that you have falsely accused, yes we did block the roads but we had informed the police service that we would be doing so in excess of 7 weeks in advance of our action. So any problems caused with the gridlock the complaints should be sent to the Cumbrian Police service.
We did jump on cars you are correct but only because they were being driven at us at speed, I myself was almost hit twice save for the actions of a fellow protester who pulled me out of the way I would have been hit. Another protester was carried over half a mile on the bonnet of a car that had attempted to knock him down.
We did not at any stage destroy or damage private property, any property that was damaged was the property of BNFL which is a 100% British Government owned company so therefore public property.
As for you comment on terrorism, get a life, we are not terrorist and have nothing to do with them. We are peaceful protesters who use Non Violent Direct Action as our tool of choice.
Regards,
Joe Sheehan

I was there at the previous demo in Nov. 01. I just wanted to respond to the demonstrators being accused of endangering the lives of the commuters on the morning of the blockade.
Putting it into perspective, the continuous real danger that BNFL exposes not only its workers, but all the people of Cumbria to, EVERY day of the year, totally over-rides the potential danger caused by the blockade that morning.
We are very aware of the blackmail which Sellafield/The UK Government forces on Cumbrians. With almost 10,000 working there, and no alternative jobs being made available, there is NO CHOICE for the people. But, you don't have to accept that you're being treated as second class citizens. You all have a right to SAFER JOBS, and it's about time you spoke out about it. Quitting Sellafield in the morning isn't an option for most, but organising and demanding alternatives from the government IS. It's not an Irish Vs. British issue either...it's a people Vs. Big Business/Government issue. It's your countryside, your children...please help us protect them.

Proven deaths from BNFL = 0
Proven deaths from Irish terrorists = Greater than 3,000 since 1969
As was said previously by my English friend - get your own house in order first!
How many millions murdered/died as a result of British foreign policy since whenever you care to start counting? If you want to be insulting you could at least pick a topic that makes sense. The Irish government does not/did not support the IRA nor do the VAST majority of the people. However, regular harassment of ordinary people, shoot to kill policies, intelligence support for Loyalist paramilitaries were supported by the British government which is a whole different kettle of fish. No one has a monopoly on virtue.
The effects of a serious accident at Sellafield would be devastating to the people on the East coast of Ireland and in a huge area around Sellafield. People have a right to assert their desire for a safe environment.
We put it in order years ago when the people travelled to Carnsore point to PREVENT a nuclear reactor being built in Ireland.
No one was put at risk by our actions. The police knew very well we'd move for emergency vehicles.
the fact that all the money in Cumbria goes on subsidising Sellafield and not on things like decent roads, means that whenever there is an accident on the A595 (some of which have INVLOLVED BNFL uranium transporters) everything is blocked. Unlike us, crashed cars won't move so quickly to let emergency services through.
You say you have a right to go to work - fine.
We have a right to protest your work as it put our lives in danger.
If you think a traffic jam is a greater crime than a badly run, accident ridden nuclear plant, then YOU should get YOUR house in order!
taken from the Sunday times;
Ronald Hanas who supervised storage of materials at Sellafield, has made the following complaints about the plant
1. Failure to register 328 items of radioactive material.
2. Illegal storage of radioactive materials in a warehouse in a nearby town.
3. The loan of radioactive material to unauthorised recipient.
4. Transport of plutonium on public highways in unsuitable containers.
5. Repeatadly leaving radioactive material unsupervised.
6. Tampering of seals on containers so radioactive material could be moved without check.
7. Allowing water from storage ponds to precolate into water tables.
Would Mister BNFL employee like to answer any of these charges.....
And you have the fucking AUDACITY to tell us to get our house in order.
One fuck up on your part (and by the sounds of it safety ain't your highest priority) and that figure of 3,000 you like to wave around, is going to be dwarfed by the amount of dead in the UK and Ireland.
Shut down Sellafield, before it's too late.
Aidan
