Our new censors tried to ban a video of a Christian bishop being stabbed by a Muslim extremist. But would they have done the same if it was a far-Right assailant attacking a Muslim? Of course not, says Prof James Allan.

First Reports from March on Farmleigh

category dublin | summit mobilisations | news report author Saturday May 01, 2004 19:21author by on the phones - Indymedia Ireland Report this post to the editors

Grassroots assemble at GPO

The early reports are that the crowd on O'Connell st. is the biggest so far on the grassroots actions. The crowd apparently runs from the Bridge up to the Spire on both sides of the road - estimates of between 1 and 2 thousand with people still arriving. No sign at present of a padded bloc.
