According to a Reuters report (so it must be credible :-) ... ) the Spanish gov. instructed its ambassadors to spread the word that armed Basque separatist group ETA was to blame for the Madrid bombings within hours of the attacks .....

It's clear that with the upcoming elections Aznar's party would prefer to have this perceived as an ETA job ... as the investigations proceed it's far more likely that the official finger of suspicion will end up pointing at some islamic group like Al-Qaida ...... but Aznar & Co. would prefer any such officially approved "clarification" to happen after the election ....

"Rough Translation of above link..
by BABELFISH "

That is a really crap translation. Why didn't you employ a reputable translation service ? Computers can't translate.

Yes, of course its a rather disjointed translation. But it does give a rough outline of what happened.
The translation is not a major issue. What is now at issue is what happens next. Is there going to be some kind of enquiry? Has the policeman been suspended yet so that such an enquiry can take place? If not, why not? Anyone know how these things are investigated in Spain?

A Basque 58 y.o. woman was killed yesterday when police attacked a demonstration shooting rubber balls against people protesting for the shooting of the Basque man by a policeman on Saturday. It is reported that when police was asked to take her to the hospital they said "we don't give a dam".

Franco is still alive.

Don't be fooled, there is little difference between PP and PSOE.

What government supported GAL, the paramilitary organization set up to murder members of the Basque nationalist left wing community?: PSOE!!!!!!

PP and PSOE are the two parties alternating in the power, they back up each other and represent the same ruling class of bastards. Don't be fooled, Tony Blair is delighted that Zapatero will be in power. So is Bush. It suits perfectly. The way the attack in Madrid has been so "badly" handled by the Spanish Government was well planned by all forces involved, and it gave the EXPECTED results, yes, results that PP was expecting to achieve too with all that theatre.

My total solidarity with the People of Madrid and with the people of Euskal Herria.
The shit is not over, don't be fooled.

Paud, you moran, yes computers can't translate but then neither can I, so I'm forced to use services like Babelfish anytime I want to get a vageu notion of what texts like the above are on about.

If you can translate then why don't you fucking employ a reputable translation service? Babelfish is free and automatic, hence why i use it. Why don't you do something, get your dictionary out, instead of moaning?
