EU Presidents of Spin and Pass The Baton.

That jumper I got for Christmas was in my eyes...

Not such a memorable day for the general public but another few months of “what the hell was he/she saying… “ And so on.

EU Presidents of Spin and Pass The Baton.

The flag was raised and the sounds of the “9th” wrong out from the dreary tones of the band who were clearly all hung over, “drunken bastards”.
The secret service perched on the castle roof looking so out of place and a couple of bands imported from Virginia USa, not the one in Ireland oh no not good enough for them, no. So they had these bands march up and down and then all of them would converge on Westmoreland Street, for what. Not even the bandleader knew why they were there, I asked some on lookers and they said they hadn’t a clue. It was funny to see the band marching “now in saying this I just caught the end of the festering sivities, I was to busy sleeping”. The band marched down the street the cameras were one side, the rent a crowd on the other, who were all American by the way or else they all went to the Tanning Shop before their big photo op. What a joke hey maybe if Audi are sponsoring the government the Tanning shop are sponsoring the secret service. Doogh were They American to? No they….
I made my way down Westmoreland Street to find the rest of the bands all standing around at their busses and packing up, “that’s it, over”. When I asked the real tall Gard what was the meaning of all this pompous ceremony, would it not have worked better if real people were invited and not a load of spies, agents and unaware kids just playing music. He just mumbled, “it’s a long story and I don’t have the time to tell it, by the way you shouldn’t be cycling on the street” I just laughed and hoped off the bike.
Places people places for the gravy train is making a stop in Ireland for the next half a year, where there will be plenty of Flash, Cash, Dash, Crash and who knows a few bridges broken for the better of man kind.
All hail King Bertie and his slovenly subjects.

Seem to be just two bands there, and the uniforms for both are quite ghastly. The band in the blue uniforms look like something out of the Franco era. Any idea what music they 'played'?
