Indymedia Dublin Informal Gathering Weds 12th November

category national | miscellaneous | event notice author Friday November 07, 2003 19:37author by paul cummins - Me . Incauthor email chewy at redbrick dot dcu dot ie Report this post to the editors

Informal meeting of those interested in Indymedia

A informal meeting of those interesting in indymedia and use of it, has been arranged for Wedsneday the 12th at 6:30pm in the Stags Head on Exchequer Street behind Dame street off Georges Street. Everyone is invited.

Its has been difficult for those who voluntarily run indymedia to meet and also to broaden the base of users so a informal gathering where the meeting can go ahead even if those running the site at present can't make it.

A formal Imc Ireland meeting needs to held quite soon to follow up on the previous one of about 3 weeks ago so suggestion for times and venue is welcome and also what else need to be put on the agenda, minutes of previous meeting will put up on the site soon.

This meeting will be a chance for people to talk about whats happening in the world and give or ask advie on how to use Indymedia fully particularily re photo video radio etc. Hopefully these gathering will become regular chance for people to talk face to face rather then over the internet and encourage sharing of skills etc.

I Paul Cummins will be there with a camera on the table so you'll know who I am. Contact me at [email protected]

This meeting is subject to change so check back the day before to confirm.
