I have just been on the phone to Joe Mooney, Secretary of the Anti-Bin Tax campaign, and he asked to pass on the word asking anybody who is free in the afternoon to go down to the High Court (Four Courts) where some of those arrested will appear.
The RTE site today has an interactive poll asking
Should residents have to pay bin charges?
At present it is running at
61.13% (1414 votes) - Yes
36.92% (854 votes) - No
1.95% (45 votes) - Maybe
Get in there and vote, you can also leave comments.
A Galway Green is annoyed because his electioneering has been disrupted by the bin tax debate.
