well done in that compilation! maybe a SF td would ask a dail question as to how much that security operation cost.
Excellent report indeed. Respect to the Gardai but pity they are not out on the streets in force like that when innocent people are getting the shit kicked out of them - and their lives taken from them.
(among other times)
Some great pictures there. The Garda appearing in the first photo, beside the flag, does he attend every left wing demo in Dublin? :)
hes a cyborg so they can leave him on contiuous duty.
Around 200 protestors, not the biggest rts event, i'll bet the lovely gards thought they'd just be kind and help boost numbers. Sure the amount of traffic disruption caused by parked vans, loitering gards and horses really clogged up the streets. And they have such pretty bright jackets to keep the trapped motorists amused at their antics, and those cameras sure they were just trying to put together a documentary of their protest against cars to show the other lads at the station in the hope it will catch on, before you know it gards blocking traffic randomly will be a regular thing. Good to see them on board after their previous indiscretions, sure they subvert the state more than any of us could hope to.
