Organise

A meeting shall take place tomorrow night in Conway mill Falls RD at 7.30pm. The meeting shall be on the issue of racism and how to fight it. We are seeing growing and continuing racist attacks in the North and while educational meetings shall be hosted on such we will also need to deal with it practically through mobilsations etc on the streets and within those areas that it is taking place. See ya there

The SWP is afraid of the internet. It lets people talk - sometimes to other lefties! - and find out information - without it being cleared by the central committee!
You never did answer those questions about the SWP consitution/factions/elections, BTW.

Agh c'mon now lets not take the complete piss. This is bit of a "damned if you do damned if you don't" type argument.

In fairness to Davy he has time and again engaged positively on indymedia for a long time.

Not that I am saying, of course, that a bit of swp and sp baiting doesn't go amiss, particulary of a mid august day when there is not much work to do ;)

This is an important issue and a good one to organise a meeting on. Problem is, it doesnt take a prophet to guess what willl happen. The SWP will reveal to us the true nature of racism and will tell us how to fight it. The end result is prearrranged, no mattter what anyone says at the meeting. The solution offered willl be to get involved in the SWP or an SWP front organisation. Reallly only the most naive are fooled by these meetings. The SWP should at least recognise the pointlessness of it and work with others on the left to organise a genuine broad based oppposition to racism.

Having said that I accept that Davy Carlin is a genuine hardworking activist and Im sure hes genuinely commmitted to fighting racism. Its just that he's in a goddamn awful organisation.

Anarcho
you posted a question asking if davy had left the SWP on August 14, davy had posted an announcement for a meeting of the SWP on the same thread on August 13. Now you either think davy had resigned that day or you are a real shit stir little wanker. No prizes for getting the answer right.
