Poll on Carrickmines Castle

category dublin | environment | news report author Thursday July 24, 2003 15:07author by Mark Report this post to the editors

Our good friends in the Dublin Chamber of Commerce are running a Poll:

"Should the M50 completion take precedence over Carrickmines Castle?"

Why not let them know what you think.

You want to go here

the link above takes you to the results page

I have in less than three minutes, achieved 96% against the M50.
This demonstrates yet again, that a quick internet connection, good hand to eye co-ordination and what the spanish call "ganas" (eagerness) can make a nonsense of any electronic poll.
I now feel secure enough to also admit responsiblity for similarly loading RTE polls on drink driving, abortion and divorce.

what you do is this:
go to
http://www.dubchamber.ie
click NO.
you then get

you then Alt and left arrow back to

it's holding at 94% against
6% for.
strange when you think that means probably less than 50 people actually voted.
