OKAN KULEKCI LOST HIS LIFE ON THE 240TH DAY OF THE DEATH FAST
The isolation in the F-Type prisons is continuing to take lives.
The TIKB (Union of Revolutionary Communists of Turkey) Trial prisoner Okan
Kulekci, who started the Death Fast against isolation in Tekirdag F-Type
Prison, lost his life in Sagmalcilar State Hospital on the 240th day.
Prisoners are continuing to resist isolation by putting their lives on the
line in the cells. Resisting oppression and torture is just and legitimate.
While the F-Type isolation torture continues, so will the resistance.
On May 1, 2002 the resistance of the 8th Death Fast Team began.
Continuing the resistance to isolation as part of the 8th Death Fast Team,
Sengul Arslan in Bakirkoy Prison; Yusuf Arici and Erkan Koncuk in Sincan
F-Type; Sinan Akbayir in Kiriklar F-Type; Nihat Palabiyik and Yavuz Ates
in Kandira F-Type; Mesut Akbulut in Edirne F-Type and Ali Sahin in Tekirdag
F-Type started the Death Fast.
