Summer Holidays for anarchists.

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Thursday June 26, 2003 20:36author by the ipsiphiauthor email iosaf at diplomats dot comauthor phone 00353garlic Report this post to the editors

¿What do they try their best not to tell you?

a short meditation on the nature of Summer holidays for anarchists, libertarians and autonomous people. With a useful phrase section. & a currency converter.
52959_1.JPG

a € equals a $ give or take a Kyoto.

Summer can at times be difficult for us all, many of us don't like the local weather, work is not as plentyful for many, the mainstream press and we ourselves go gaga.

Ireland too can be wild @ times.

do you like the weather?
Now we have to be more certain about what these "big" meetings mean. There recently in Ireland has been mention of the forthcoming WEF meeting in Dublin and what might be expected. Summer provides some with the opportunity to relax and think about all this stuff and I your friendly writer pal am one, though I do have less work and thus less money.
People get aggresive in hotter weather.
But melanin is associated with uptake in seratonin production, and with vitamins surging through the body and brain most well adjusted pleasant people just find time and space to enjoy life, maybe dance, be with their friends and avoid getting killed by cars.

Now we have to be more certain about what these "big" meetings mean. There has recently been in Ireland mention of the forthcoming WEF meeting in Dublin and what might be expected.

Some questions perhaps:
Do the decisions made in Evian/Thessalonika have direct bearing on our lives in the same sense that the decisions made by these institutions in the final years of the 20th century did?

Is Mr George Monibot my least favourite hack?

Do some people (myself included) really have table maps with models of buses, activists, and push them around with sweeping brushes during the Summer months?

Answers: No.Yes.No
{{{oh it reminds me of liebniz, the sanctity of the zero. you may find it has a 101 formation, (for the other George [Orwell])}}.

This summer a protester was seriously injured during the G8 summit meetings, an experienced and trusted protester. You may all perhaps not have forgotten yet the Martin Shaw story. This sparked some shallow debate on "Carlo v. Martin" the bad v. good protester. Yet the good protester was to be ignored.... In fact as compaction of the "new" approach to experienced activists and protesters, the subsequent solidarity protest at the Swiss consulate in Barcelona was too ignored. The new approach to protesting which I have reffered too should be blatently apparant to all who avoid sunstroke this Summer. Over 12 million people took to the streets to protest against the War on Iraq. We were ignored.

Perhaps many of us should get used to this new version of one zero one, NoYesNo, Liebniz meets Eric Blair.

This last weekend I had chance to read a "Big Issue" magazine which the patroness brought back along with dinky wallpaper (which can not be found here), and a 500gr jar of Marmite from London. It shows a picture of George Bush the 2nd with a thumb up "making money from the war" ran the headline or something equally banal. Inside interviewed were the Hislop creature of Private Eye and that man, that horrid, repelent, hack George Monibot offered a piece on his "new world order".
Why should this interest you?

Because George Monibot attempts and indeed is paid to recycle and neutralise our ideas, in tangent and addition to our media.

Other articles of interest in the Jun-22 Big Issue were "is globalisation a good thing".

To return then to our summer anarchists, libertarians, autonomous people, I wonder in the autumn will we "re-think" the holiday destinations?

Washington in it's present guise of previously alluded to "ignorance/magnificence" is now where all "key" decisions are made. The local billionaires after all may be amused in Windsor by a gatecrashing "Osama" terrorist, and entertain a KGB officer the week later. Surreality and impotence meet incredulity and very ancient courting. The billionaire who is to inherit amongst other cultural and national symbols "those of Ireland", partied with his Safari satire and saw Osama ruin the boring speech.

Washington in it's present guise of previously alluded to "ignorance/magnificence" is now where all "key" decisions are made.

Washington on the banks of the Potomac river.

But be more specific what is cuntish about reposting photographs of Ireland's policeforce taken last May in the wake of the first acquital of a Garda for charges arising from the first RTS riot to take place in Ireland?
Or are my references to the Windsor party of the last weekend "cuntish"? Perhaps it was the link to Potomac river tours that once cookied on your interent browser will place you in the data-mined "potential anti-US terrorist" list, which really makes me a cunt?

Or would it be the "rethink" I suggest might be appropriate in the Autumn over the role "libertarian/anarchistic/autonomous" groups play in the yearly round of Summer summits?

All of you, cunt or not, are invited to Barcelona next year for the "Forum2004" year of "peace, dialogue and Monibot type twisting of popular distaste at contemporary geo-politics". The cuntish of BCN look forward to hearing for suggestions for a "hub" style "counter" Forum. This shall not a "portallegre" nor a Firenze, it shall be the result of hundreds of millions of Euros investment in "urban regeneration" in the city combined with "manipulation" of the city's reputation for being "a hotbed of malcontented cunts".
Monibot I assure you will show up, writing for you, speaking for you, and counting your hands as his applause. & I'd rather be a cunt than a runt.
There are generally more nerve endings in the former and the potential for happyness, life fulfilment and joy are endless.

It's phrases like

"{{{oh it reminds me of liebniz, the sanctity of the zero. you may find it has a 101 formation, (for the other George [Orwell])}}."

or

"Surreality and impotence meet incredulity and very ancient courting. "

that make you a cunt.

_Incredulity_:
That the Royal Family of England queen, charles, william in fact all of the first nine in line to the crown be disturbed by Osama.
That neither they nor I and most of the readers believe in Osama.
meets.
Ancient courting:
queen and Putin. who neither believe in Osama but who are either impotent or for tactical reasons do not call "the bluff".
& Surreality.
In the traditional royal family fairy tale, the prince or princess at the celebration of their "coming of age" are disturbed by either Rumplestilstkins characters or the Wicked Stepmother. Camila we are told is simply perfect and not at all wicked, so Osama turned up instead.

really I'm a cunt because I could joke about wallpaper being brought from London and pretend as if I am suffering from hot weather here.
That's what makes me a right cunt.

that's why the

"{{{oh it reminds me of liebniz, the sanctity of the zero. you may find it has a 101 formation, (for the other George [Orwell])}}."

is in "{{{}}}"
it was like a subthread for some of the users, a reference to the Riemann's hypothesis on the equality of zeroes, a problem set by the Claymath's math institute, the winner of which get's one million dollars for solving the encryption problems of all the IT/Military industies together.

I've been joking about that with some of the other contributors to the site.

So maybe I'm a cunt for "injokes".

Whoever solves the problem will be a most rightous cunt

in any one's language.

if they claim the million, it is a moral "Liebniz" type reflection on the meaning of zero, which led to Orwell's room 101, his anniversary being celebrated this week, if you would like a go at "pondering the zeroes" go to the link.

Coz the truth is there are good people who could answer this question and wouldn't sell your and my liberty for only a million dollars.

They are not cunts.

originally the reprint of the photographs
were at two different postings because i was flustered this has led to multiple photographs and mulitple comments.
Too many of whom address the "C" question and much too little reflection on the "Zero", or "That" as it is in German.
This is becuase reflection on the "0" is too hard for some people's brains.

I go on:

Liebniz, the week of Orwell's anniversary is an apt name to drop. The man who pondered on binary as perhaps representative of the relationship between God and Man, the ultimate duality, his thought was not important to Orwell the author of 1984 and Room101, but the co-incidence that this same week we see Alan Turing's anniversary, who was born June 23rd 1912, Turing being the man who developed binary as a mathematical system and gave us the computer.

Without the computer, we wouldn't have as much Room 101, Orwellian nightmares, 1984, Big Brother and the whole damned show.

Without the computer we wouldn't have hyper-capitalism.

Without Turing and Liebniz and the great mystery of "the Zero" we might still be accounted for in ledgers, and Orwellian haircuts and boshevikism might still be popular.

You'd have to go to another media for photographs of police, and well we wouldn't be "chatting".
and Oscailt would never have been "ajar".

take a read.

quite right.

that's why everyone is "on holidays".
Not because they are like "there".
No
because we don't want to talk about that.
would you?
