Fucks sake have we moved from copying from other newspaper sites to taking photos of them?

one will notice a sharp increase at the point that Dublin went through it's "urban regeneration speculation europeanisation Forum building tourist attracting bourgoisification thingy".
You remember just about when everyone found they couldn't afford to pay rent anymore and all the poor people were moved out of the city.
{---How does one catch these hellish conditions?
the truth is simple, foreigners, you must learn to avoid all of them,...} from Harry Enfield on AIDS.

We catch STDs from unprotected sex with a contaminated person.

Prostitution is an aspect of Endentured labour and the continuing exploitation of Women these days Roisín Sraíde, is more likely to have been imported from Eastern European states or Western african states.

Dublin peaked in Syphyllis infection in Europe in the mid-90s. That meant that more cases of Syphillis which previously had been almost moribund in Europe were treated in Dublin than anywhere else.

Dublin had got the Pox.

Nah,it couldn't possibly have anything to do with our national penchant exchanging our disposable incomes for the 'Magic Diminished Responsibility Serum' that Fianna Fail so gladly supplies us with.Or is it Fine Gael? I always get those "two" parties mixed up.For some reason....

This posting is relevant and warrants staying put on the article list as his highlights sexism in the mainsream media which goes unnoticed due to coporate hegemony. Well done redjade for pointing out this through the medium of photography.

hugh you idiot why does it take a photo to show sexism in the media? especially when it's a photo of a headline, you'd understand if it was a picture from the herald but what's the point here?

You can't complain too much, this is a big step up to broadsheet for the herald, they didn't use the term sexpert. Congratulations boys

It does not take a photo to show sexism in the media but Redjade has used his preffered choice which is photography because that is what he is best at and should therefore be encouraged to do so in future.
Being trained as a documentary photographer myself i can say that Redjades attempt is a pretty good one, the photo portays what the tabloid newspapers do best and that is sensationalism, the backdrop puts the photo in context with the theme and the compositon is strong yet simple this a charactaristic of his work. To take a photo of a photo is boring so dont slag off Redjade for being creative unless your gonna get the finger out yourself.

I agree with your remarks Hugh and well put. This is not "copying" or repeating what the Herald is saying, as IMC Dalek claims.

Rather it is "examining" what they, and the mainstream media in genearl are saying.

...funnily enough, the headline from the Herald reminded me of an old advertising slogan the Herald used to use....

"Whatever it is, The Herald has it!"
