Sometimes politicians have to lose to win so the other side can show its true colours. Trump is the standout example, says Prof James Allan. Had he won in 2020, we would not have had the blitz of the last four weeks.

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Monday June 09, 2003 16:00author by karen redflare Report this post to the editors

The next RTS event.

Reclaim the Streets in association with Food Not Bombs present the RTS/FNB Sunday Suburban Summer Picnic.

We are meeting up outside the Customs House at 1pm on Sunday July 6th. Please dont be late!

Food Not Bombs will be preparing a big free vegetarian picnic on the day, but we’re encouraging you to bring your own food & drink too.

You’ll need to bring some euro in random change for the exact fare – we’re heading into the suburbs!

Don’t forget to bring music, colour, noise, and everything else that makes reclaim the streets the best party in the city.

Food Not Bombs Belfast should make it along.

Maybe it could bea good convergence for all the FNB's that have been springing up around Ireland in the last year or so....

"exact" change.. you dont need exact change for the trains, you need it for those red fare boxes next to dublin bus driver's cabins, sounds to me like a bus excursion.

cant wait!

Go on forget spare change buy a rambler ticket or whatever, so the rest of us dont get kept up as someone digs through their lint. I feel so cheap for being so easily used by their brightly coloured advertising of smiling stereotyped ginger dreadlocked student, but who can resist his chirpy smile as it stares at you while you try to find the timetable its pasted over. hope the weather holds out.
