Pictures RTS SHOCKING NEW FOOTAGE OF GARDA VIOLENCE

If anyone has any footage of Gardaí violence at Burgh Quay, please contact me by phone or email. I was batoned on the back of the head beside the car down the lane. I have found some pictures of me after the attack, but it would help loads if there is footage or photos of the attack or even of any Gardaí with batons drawn, to help identify the prick. I was lucky enough to find someone who got the shoulder ID of the Garda, and that he had red hair. Any help or witnesses please please get in contact.

What annoys me most about these images is that there is nowhere that these women can go to retreat from the Gardai. The are huddled in a doorway when they are being attacked.
The Gardai are supposed to give someone some way to move away to remedy what they have seemingly done wrong, in the majority of the cases the Gardai gave people no chance.
There was more than one Garda out of control on Monday and there has to be more than one officer disciplined.

Pictures of peaceful woman been beating by nearly a dozen Garda is beyond belief. This MUST be exposed to the public. Well done to indymedia.

The opening photo establishes gardai but not the girl.The subsequent photos dont provide any information.There is no evidence that the legs are those of guards, there is no sign of even the garda sign on anyones back.I'm not suggesting that they have been faked,I'm simply saying that If these are from video footage there should be better(in terms of identification) shots and if they are not - then they cant really be seen to prove anything unfortunately.

Christ, its unbelievable that anyone would think that any of this footage has been faked. There's no need to exaggerate or fabricate any evidence. The proof is in the wounded protestors. I'd advise the person who posted the above statement to download the footage which the above stills originate. It is linked from the front page.

While we'll always get a few people who doubt the ferocity of the Gardaí or the legitamacy of our claims, to actually question the authenticity of photographic or video footage is to grossly insult the young woman clearly being attacked by state henchmen.

Also my sympathy to the woman in these photos. I can only guess at how she's feeling and I'm really sorry that this was done to her. I hope that she's OK with these pictures being up. I hope she pursues this in the courts and that she takes heart from the fact that most people feel for her and are repulsed by the Gardai.

I hope that not just the actual filth that did this are removed from the opportunity to do it again, but also that their senior officers are fired for supervising this.

The mainstream media are very happy to see a token sacrificial Garda-thug fired with the implication that this is all an aberration and they were "rotten apples", but its deeper than that.

Groups that I don't have much time for (various Republicans, Youth Defence) etc. have been on the receiving end of this sort of assault, and I completely disagree with allowing the Gardai to get away with it.

Again, (to the woman pictured) hope you're doing OK.

What's all the fuss ? Is it just because middle class kids got caught up.
These Free State Blueshirts have been at this for years. Earlier this year they broke up Easter parades while also breaking up RSF meetings. However the results were a lot worse than what went on up in Dublin. Guess Republicans don't have friends in the media.....

Faking these stills would be not problem for me anyone could do it.
BUT
These are stills from video which is clear and continuous (no cuts not edited). which if you come to the screening you can see for your self.
unlike some people we dont have to make up evidence.
