Children as young as 13 held in Guantanamo Bay

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Sunday April 27, 2003 13:06author by EMauthor email xoin at hotmail dot comauthor address www.humanrightswatch.org Report this post to the editors

The US military has announced that at least three children aged from 13 to 15 are being held in the detention camp, Guantnamo Bay. Like other prisoners being held at the camp, they are being held indefinately without trial and are being interrogated by the military. They have been in captivity for over a year. Human Rights Watch have sent a letter to Donald Rumsfeld urging the United States to strictly observe international children's rights standards regarding the detainees.

"The use of children as soldiers is an appalling abuse," said Jo Becker, child rights advocacy director for Human Rights Watch. "These children are entitled to rehabilitation, not indefinite detention."

If I read that correctly, its an indictment more on the Taliban/Al Queda than the US holding them on Gitmo.

This shows the backward uncivilised unchristian mentality of the likes of nazi heathen Bush. If Tony and Bush had their way they'd be sending wee kids up chimneys and down mines again. Its obvious Tony/Bush couldn't give a fuk about the well being, health and rights of children, thats why they dropped cluster bombs and land mines in their pointless wargames. Its obvious that ultra capitalist nazi Bush admires the victorian attitude of dog eat dog third world regiemes like India/brazil/saudi arabia to children. Bush/blair admire the way third world regiemes treat their children. Filthy peasant children are a commodity, to be used, abused, and spat out.To slave in sweat shops, to beg on on the streets, to be degraded and brutalised so the rich can do what they want to these children. Paedophilia at its most powerful.Blair and bush want the same third world future/treatment for the children of the poor in their own countries, which is why Tony is introducing some nasty changes to the welfare state.

When we laugh at Iraqi hospitals, at the lack of facilities/equipment in ethiopian dirt shed, tin shack hospitals, stop and take a look at the state of our own health care system. We have elderly pensioners lying on trolleys in hospital corridors, we have filthy unhygenic facillities/equipment, where if you're not fatally ill before you go into hospital, you will be after your stay in hospital, due to unsanitory equipment or tired overworked underpaid health workers making understandable mistakes. We have management staff trying to cut corners in order to make figures work, we have staff under pressure to falsify information on waiting lists. We have a health care system in crisis, because renegade Government pirates would rather waste billions of taxpayers money on War and pointless war games in far off foreign soils.

"Couldn't give a feck

Yeah. Let's demonize these common Taliban grunt soldiers. I'm sure especially the young ones were in on the top Al Queda plans you trivial fop,
Max'. There have been 29 attempted suicides as the US Sp Forces thugs TORTURE these regular Taliban soldiers. Their has also been one successful suicide to escape the Torture. The LIFE magazine picture that the US Army was so angry about being smuggled out - showed these boys After SIX Continuous months in prison there - Still being Tortured with full black eye goggle face masks on over both mouth and nose. Tied hand and foot and forced to kneel on sharp gravel for days at time while US Special Forces beat and 'interogate' them.
____________________________
So you won't speak up for the tortured in the US Ay Max .... you superficial twit? You don't give a 'feck' because those tortured by the US fought for their government when the US invaded their country ay ...

Well
As pastor Martin Niemoeller said of Nazi Germany:

"First they came for the communists I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn't a trade unionst. They they came for
the Catholics and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, but by that time no one was left to speak up. "

So you won't speak up for the Taliban tortured, because you are not that kind of a muslim and you don't believe in the kind of government they were defending... Max?

OK.

And when they come and torture you - for what ever YOU believe in and fight for perhaps there will be no one left to give a 'feck' about you, you manure-kicking ignoramus.
