India/Iran worried about Irish 'NATO' troops in Afghanistan

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Monday April 21, 2003 10:00author by James McKennaauthor email jimmymac61 at hotmail dot com Report this post to the editors

Countries neighbouring Afghanistan are very concerned that NATO is now running ISAF operations in Afghanistan, to which Ireland is contributing troops. Nato officials in Brussels have been reported as saying the move represented a new era for the organisation.

Germany, Canada and the Netherlands who currently run ISAF have "requested to entrust Nato with the command of ISAF". Leadership of the ISAF used to be rotated between members under UNSC1386 which established the ISAF. First Britain , then Turkey and now Germany, Canada and the Netherlands .

From the start an annex to SC1386 gave US Central Command overall command and control of ISAF "to avoid opertional difficulties with Operation Enduring Freedom". Thay means the US Central Command have been commanding Irish Soldiers.

Nato Chief George Robertson informed Kofi Annan of the NATO decision to take over the ISAF command. I sure hope Bertie , Harney and McDrool don't ask NATO to take over Ireland! We could have Robertson, with his face full of arse-holes , telling us that he was now running Ireland. Is that as remote an laughable an idea now as when we first embarked on the present Irish Peace Process?

“Strategic coordination, command and control will be exercised by NATO through SHAPE (the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers in Europe),”

Establishing their futher intention to misrepresent the true nature of the ISAF to the countries who are contributing soldiers to ISAF, another NATO official added, “What we don’t want to do is to give the impression that NATO is going to lead the mission". Despite the fact that NATO is going to lead the mission!

Russia in particular is extremely upset with the US over the millions it is losing every day due to the illegal occupation of Iraq. Two nuclear subs and nine of the Russian Black Sea and Pacific Fleet ships are on the way to the Gulf on the pretext of "War games with India".

Will the thieves agree on how to divvy up the spoils of war or will we see more flexing of military might and maybe even a beserker war that only two boot-boys like Bush and Putin would start?

Just keep that one who was making porno tapes with the local women in Eritrea at the Curragh, and everything will be fine.
