shannon anti-war demo (pics & video) 2m 45s

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Monday April 14, 2003 06:28author by rocket vids Report this post to the editors

Approximately 800-1000 people braved the long journeys, temperamental Irish weather and persistent global propaganda to join together and call once again for the immediate withdrawal of us military aircraft and personal using Shannon wirport for stopover and refuelling and of course an end to the barbaric war in Iraq. The good-natured crowd marched and sang their way from the car park in the town centre, to outside the heavily barricaded warport where a number of speeches were made. They later broke up and made their war peacefully home

I'm glad to see there is still People in Ireland that are against the attack of US led terrorist army and who are brave enough to fight for peace & socialism! I think that the next target will be Democratis Peoples Republic of Korea and we must defend socialist Korea and it's great leader comrade Kim Jong il!

Thats correct. You are either against the war or supporting the war, you are either communist or capitalist, you are either working class or the class enemy.... Have you ever met anyone who is communist and capitalist at the same time? The answer is NO, because it is impossible.

Me
"But KIJAN what if I'm neither communist or capitalist"

KIJAN
"What! I don't understand?"

Me
"What if I follow a different political/socological viewpoint, which rejects both communism and capitalism"

KIJAN
"But are you one of the working class or an enemy of the peope?"

Me
"Well I think the issue is more complex than that, for example while I loath US Imperialism, I don't believe that immensely fucked up Nth Korea holds anything close to the answers"

KIJAN
"ERROR DOES NOT COMPUTE BZZZ ER VIZZ"

Me
"Oh dear I've broken KIJAN"
