Macron claims that Russia is an ?existential threat? to Europe. Yet his actions belie this. France has given Ukraine 12 times less aid than Denmark. And it's still importing billions of euros of Russian energy.

The BBC has run a story claiming UK spring temperatures are up 1.8?C. It's alarmist agitprop straight from a Green Blob press release and it doesn't check out when you look at the facts, says Chris Morrison.

The Javaad Alipoor Company is a theatre company with a woke "nine-point manifesto that drives everything we do". Inevitably, the Arts Council is stuffing it with taxpayers' cash. Why do we fund this crap?

A success? Are you Blind?

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Thursday April 10, 2003 23:12author by Carlos - MAMA Report this post to the editors

A success? Are you Blind? More than 10.000 people has died just to get Saddam. "Cacerolada" in Shannon 12th April A SUCCESS? ARE YOU BLIND? MAMA (Midwest alliance against military aggression)

Cacerolada" in SHANNON. "A success? Are you blind?"

Next Saturday MAMA will be in Shannon.

In this Tuesday meeting the anti-war group of Limerick and Clare have decided to participate in the Largest non-violent Demonstration for peace ever seen in Shannon Airport, which is going to happen next Saturday the 12th April.

The idea that we propose is that every single person in Limerick and Clare brings a pot or a saucepan and bang it with any spoon, fork or stick or whatever can make noise. Feel free to bring anything that can make the loudest sound possible (we also recommend to bring ear plugs).

This idea of the "Cacerolada" comes from Argentina, where the "mothers of May" used this technique, to be heard by the government, and has been performed with a huge success in Barcelona (Spain) were hundreds of thousands of people are going to the streets almost every weekend since the war started banging any single pot, plate, pan or casserole dish (the term Cacerolada comes from this word in Spanish) to be heard by the Spanish Government.

The meeting point will be the Limerick Bus Station Entrance at 12:00 or Shannon at 2:00

THEY WILL HEAR THE PEACE BANGING AND THEY WILL KNOW THAT THE BIGGEST MISTAKE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD IS BEING MADE.

This International Demonstration has been called by ALL anti-war groups around the WORLD, and all Irish anti-war groups, including IAWM, PANA, the NGO Peace Alliance and MAMA.

MAMA, will be making a lot of NOISE.

JOIN US!!!

Seems you people don't mind making complete fools of yourselves. If the US pulled out the Baathists would come surging back, imagine the bloodbath! You morons.

The US is pulling out, they can't be everywhere at once. Kurd fighters who liberated kirkuk, were ordered to pull out of the oil rich kurd region. Kurdish coalition forces have fought a hard and long road to liberate their state, but now they must again take a back seat to US troops. Give them back their state, Iraqis have been liberated from soddem, now its time to liberate them from the US/UK war machine.
