Raytheon 'Adopt-an-Iraqi' initative![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A touching piece of news on how one company is trying to make a difference before and after the War. Employees at PatriotMissileMaker Raytheon in Derry are to be given a $4000 adoption subsidy to cover "out-of-pocket costs, including legal expenses, travel, agency fees, and certain medical expenses" when adopting a child [there are no terms and conditions listed by the company on what calibre colour or nationality of child one may adopt]. Another established staff benefit is the Military Leave of Absence from the missile-making company. By successfully combining these two Company benefits in their Adopt-an-Iraqi program, Raytheon management are encouraging staff to design missiles, build them, go to war, drop them, murder innocent Iraqi civilians - and then apply for $4000 tax-efficient cashback on the adoption of the dead Iraqis' orphaned children. Raytheon should be commended for their unique and extremely efficient take on 'regime change' and for the development of this very human reponse to the ravages of [their] war. Perhaps thats why they call them the Mother Of All Bombs? Find out more about this progressive Arms Manufacturer at http://www.rayjobs.com/index.cfm?Option=WorkLife

Jump To Comment: 1The Patriot Missile is a defensive system, and one that has been very effective and probably saved many innocent Kuwaiti civilians in this conflict.
If Irish programmers who help program these missiles, they should be very proud for the lives they've helped to save.
