 Moves are under way, by Rumsfled to distance himself from Iraq 2. After widespread US/UK alarm at the mess in Iraq, with the arrival of coalition bodybags, coalition war dead and massive Iraqi civillian casualties. Rumsfled is putting the blame of the mess and debacle that is Iraq 2 squarely on the shoulders of General Tommy Frank. Currently on US news shows Rumsfled can be seen denying that he is responsible for the debacle and god almighty mess that is IRAQ 2. With coalition casualties and body bags mounting, heads will have to roll to appease public alarm and disquiet at the unfolding carnage and horror of Iraq 2. Laying the blame firmly on the obviously 'incompetent and misguided' shoulders of general Tommy Frank, Rumsfled is denying it was his idea in the first place to go into Iraq. Amid denial and counter denial, it is widely known that General Tommy franks was relunctant to go into Iraq, but his common sense, military expertise and knowledge were dismissed by those ignorant in matters of military manuover and strategies such as US/UK administrative hawks. It looks like Rumsfled is on his way out, after the backlash against Iraq 2, someone has to carry the can. |
