Ed Horgan Gets Court Date to challenge the 'Republicans in Erron' over Shannon use by Military![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Court date - April 3rd - High Court- Good luck Ed March 26, 2003 March 26, 2003 Edward Horgan of Newtown, Castletroy in Limerick, a former Army Commandant, is challenging the legality and constitutionality of the Government's decision to provide facilities for US troops and military aircraft at Shannon. His senior counsel, John Rogers, sought an early court hearing today. He said Mr Horgan is concerned at the continued breaches of Ireland's duty as a neutral State not to permit the movement of troops or munitions across the territory. The President of the High Court Mr Justice Finnegan fixed 3 April for the full hearing. |
