Family of first confirmed US war dead condemn Bush and war

Why doesn't Bush send his daughters? asks sister

The tearful father of the first confirmed US casualty of the war has appeared on US television condemning the war and blaming for Bush.

Really, I feel like a shit posting this because it IS propaganda and I feel so sorry for the father and sister Neal Peckham. This is just another example of the human cost of this war: working people are dying for the rich all over the world.

Interestingly I can't find any major newspaper stories reporting the opinions of his father and sister: just reports that Bush is praying for them. Some use prayers are.

the war took a nasty turn for the US/K with the psy-op which were the pictures of the last days.

and these people are victims.
and their families are victims.
and I find it repugnant to be like so many others "vindicated".

not Neal Peckham. I wasn't very good at getting the details when I was watching it the first time. His father was crying and it was pretty upsetting. I don't know why this affected me more than the pictures of the Iraqi dead. Something wrong with me perhaps, because although I found them sickening and upsetting, this one really did a number on me.

Sorry to him and to his family for not even getting his name right.

While the death of that soldier is a tragedy for his family, is his life worth more than the million plus Iraqis who have died in a little over a decade? What is truly sickenig is that he died for cheap oil.
