Lapdog Broadcasters Cut Dail Coverage

Why are RTE not showing the Dail debate in full? Why do we need to see Crossroads instead of the most important debate in the Dail for years? I couldn't get a straight answer from them. Jam the switchboard and demand that it be shown in full, not sanitised highlights later. RTE 01-208 3111 ask for newsroom

The rte (neo) liberals have been lying to the people for years on issues such as the EU, Nato wars etc etc. The sooner we have alternative media and rte and its liars and truth spinners disapear the better.

You should contact Peter Feeney who handles complaints for RTE. You could email him at [email protected] (but I supect they delete most). Best policy is to keep ringing asking for him personally. I was given the run around when I rang (at a meeting bla bla bla), but I will keep trying. Also get onto Joe Duffy and when your one have a go at RTE, he will try and cut you off but at least you will have got your say in before he does so.

Its time for the leadership of Sinn Fein (Gerry Adams)& the Green Party (Sargent) to go on TV and tell people its now or never - the debate failed - its time to take direct action

I would also like to know why RTÉ are biased and sympathetic to the American cause, why they refer to Bush as "The President" as though we have none of our own, why they advocate the war as inevitable, why they had a pro-war american and army commander on this morning's programme, without any representation of the other side, and why Enrique Barón's comments in the EU parliment will not be broadcast on the News tonight as they should be (Enrique Baron - spanish socialist ex-minister pointed out a lot of things including the people of europe obviously being against war, and that the US has already carved up Iraq with a ruler and that the biggest chunk goes to the company Bush was heading not 2 years ago.....and all the usual about Palestine, the Mortality rate in Iraq and Palestine, and how we are not advocating Saddam's rule by trying to oppose war etc)
Also, where is the reasoning behind the statement of the Irish Government saying that we must support the Americans because of all they have done for the Peace Process in the Six Counties? So What? They should not be allowed to use Casement Aerodrome or Shannon against the will of the Irish people, as that is a direct breach of our constitution, as Brian Cowen well knows...

I saw the beginning of the Dail 'debate'.

Opposition parties complained that time allocated for the debate was too short.
This was rejected in a vote.
The debate will finish at 4.30 as the Taoiseach and Foreign Affairs Minister Brian Cowen convienently have to go to Brussels for an EU meeting.

Now wouldn't it be a great message if they were blockaded from going !
