48 HOURS TO GET OUTTA DODGE!

Al Capone protection racket foreign policy

We'll take the fries and the coke, but hold the moral righteous gush about ridding the world of evil. For that those hypocrites in Washington would have to shut down their arms industries and stop the corporate raiding of the rest of the world. Would anybody really be slurping doggy burgers at McDonald troughs around the planet if the junk food culture weren't backed up to the hilt by the McDonald Douglas junk global cop culture?

Land of the brave, home of the free?

By T Dillon

With over 30,000 gun deaths in the US each year, of which the NRA snipers in Washington is simply the latest example, it would behove the US president better to stop the civil war raging in his own violent society. Whether the agenda of Bush is to exchange blood for oil in Iraq or for his “cabinet” to project their concept of “Greater Israel” or simply to divert attention from the scandal wracked paper tiger economy at home, despite a resounding NO from the rest of the world, the US military machine is greased and ready to roll once again.

Bush should tone his war rhetoric down and his people should remember who started this problem with Saddam in the first place; you will never hear mention in the typical media of the billions that Bush senior gave to the Iraqi dictator or the well documented transfer of American viral and biological material routinely passed on to Iraqi laboratories right up and into the Clinton administration. See “Mindfield” by Gordon Thomas for the chilling details of US abuse in this field of terror weapons.

While we're on the subject, a lot of people around the planet favour an immediate disarming of the US and a regime change. We know where the Taliban came from, who trained them like attack dogs and then let them loose around the world. Is it necessary for me to repeat the list of former friends of the big bucks 2 party democratic US; Marcos, Pinochet, Trujillo, Noriega, Saddam, Bin Laden etc etc? Be it Baghdad, Belgrade or Washington nobody likes a bully who finances thugs like Sharon and is a known associate of the Bin Laden family. See “War On Freedom” by Nafeez Mossaddeq Ahmed for the dirty details on the Bush family's long standing business ties with the Nazis, Bin Laden and other questionable Saudis.

After the peculiar putsch by which Bush junior came to power it is indeed farcical that Bush should now decide who may and may not govern in other countries. This present “democratic” US society where less than 22% of the electorate or less “elected” the Bush boy has nothing other than its military might to back up its claim of moral superiority, a paradox to say the least. From the demonstrations around the world against American militarism, it should be obvious the world doesn't want this twenty-five percent Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Perle, Abrams, Fleischer,Wolfowitz, Uncle Tom, Aunt Jemima “mandate” shoved down its throat, anymore I suspect than the majority of thinking , peace loving Americans do. Were any of these people in fact elected? Isn't that supposedly the hallmark of a functioning democracy for goodness sake?

Some of us will take the "freedom" fries and the coke, but hold the moral righteous gush about ridding the world of evil. As for the show, Hollywood should do something other than those corny military propaganda spots glorifying mass murdering US Forces in other people's countries. It's about as “democratic” as the Romans or the Brits when they plundered the resources of the respective worlds those dinosaurs once “policed”.

“America” a former US president said “has no special friends, only special interests.” Are those so called special interests your interests, too? They certainly are not mine!

America, police your own gun crazed society, but stop dumping your weapons and wars on the rest of the unfortunate planet.

Bush and Blair are hoping their pal Soddem saves his neck. Proving their war is not with murdering dictator pal Soddem but with the ordinary already oppressed iraqi population. Soddem will sneak out in the night leaving his citizens to endure blanket bombing, well thats one way to get rid of those pesky rebelling Iraqi peasants. Soddem wins out once again thanks to his pals Bush and Blair.
