I remember quite distinctly that last year when the nominations went out for the unofficial "Person of the Left Ireland 2002" you nominated me as "contrarian of the year" and then fifteen minutes later impersonated me with a comment refusing the honour.

For the benefit of the most intelligent readership who will be now be busy putting the price of whiskey, contracts signed for Ireland, and WAR on Iraq and the "old hands at the game" Irish Republican movement, Pat C. is upset at being impersonated.

which whiskey do you drink Pat?
have enough cash for the Middletons?
Killian Forde sure wise as he is to the cut and thrust of politics what with being in the Balkans and all probably cant afford Middletons either.
you can help him buy a glass of the real
"water of life" by contributing to his bank account at
to Acc no 12564231 sort code 90-00-19.
or you can help me buy a glass of Whiskey at an Irish pub in Barcelona even though they are instrumental in speculation which causes evictions of my community by giving me money

why dont all the girls and young wans wear White like the Pope
and all teh boys and young fellas wear Black?
wouldn't that be great?
and WHAT FUCKING WHISKEY DID THE SINN FEIN LEADERSHIP TOAST BUSH WITH?
WHICH WHISKEY WASHED DOWN THE ANNUAL CONTRACTS SIGNED?
simple question.
...............and I ·do· have the power to make it the silly question that haunts ye.

"Sure Whiskey means 'water of life'"
comment?
or are we to suppose that that cliché was foregone this year?
do we have to wait for a list of all Irish american good will contracts signed this month?
do we have to wait for the publicity departments of the Distillery companies to issue the photos?
WHICH WHISKEY?

I was nominated as contrarian of the year! So there! I never impersonated you, but there could be a tough competition between us for the post.

Ah, all I want is consistency re the deletions.

Maybe i could become Iosaf or Ipshi or Sanarchus!

I might beat you on penalties, I've got such a sick sense of humour. Oh, I think I could do with a Whisky now, a Black Bush would go down well.

What happened to that competition anyway? Did the Tots 'n' Trots give the awards in secret?

i lost any respect I had for Maggie O'Kane after she supported the US/Brit bombing of the SErb TV stration.

Have a virtual whisky on Joe Higgins. Dont drink it in the Sun though.

you left the Black bush over there ;-)
i muttered something about Justin not saying "son Martin Mc Guinness is a Pioneer".

I must admit I like Glenfiddich.
!!!!! scotch????? its ok.

I reckon the Left of the Year went to Joe and was thought by his fan club. He probably has it on his mantle piece along with a photo of the GPO and himself..... great man Joe! [i don't need to rub up both SP and SF the wrong way in one day now do I?]
are you going to dress like the Pope?

i won it in a game of Monopoly.
It really starts the ID question and answer thing quite well, honestly I recommend it. Any garda/policia who picks up someone dressed like the pope with a ·get out of jail free card· knows it just aint worth continuing.

there are many ·pontiff· garb options.

since San Francisco is leading the world in the SPAM THE POPE FOR PEACE campaign, you could adopt the Order of Perpetual indulgence approach.

This group which now has a global membership started in San F. years ago is "an order of transvestite nuns".

you could go for a little hat/cap.
you could go for the relaxing pontiff with sombrero.
you could go for the POntiff in full mass gear.
(not good for mobility)
you could go for the pope on his day off in privacy style (like the man from delmonte)

more suggestions as they come in.
