i was torn in two. Nunca Mais marched in Madrid for the morning the hundreth day since the Prestige sank.
In the evening I went to the Eastern Pyrennes town of "Ribes del Fraser" where a continuing day of action /open space against the war was had.

The town´s "gigantes" (medieval traditional giants that are carried by townspeople as a festive costume) danced about with "auturem la guerra" [stop the war] banners. Local academics and school teachers used the community theatre to explain the causes of War, terrorism and Oil.

Links were made and explained between Hyper-Capitalism /Neo-liberal capitalism, the War, the policies internal and external of Bush, Blair, Aznar and Burlosconi.

In the night time a band of youngsters played some awful punk stuff and I descended from the mountains after a day crossing the Iberian peninisula being convinced that whether or not "this war" is stopped, people everywhere or every different type know why it should be stopped.

I read this report above and feel that this is the same sort of thing. We are moving forward, we are developing "open space" for the people. It is not enough to say "no war", we must know "why".
and this process happens equally in capital cities and universities as local villages and school halls.
