Text of leaflet distributed at Belfast march calling for solidarity with anti-war prisoners

SUPPORT ANTI- WAR PRISONERS

Mary Kelly, one of the women involved with the Shannon Peace Camp, was arrested on Wednesday 29th January, after trying to disarm a US military plane. Mary took a hatchet to the nose of the US Navy Cargo aircraft causing a large amount of damage. She refuse to sign her bail conditions and was held at while at Limerick prison. Mary is now out on bail, we would encourage you to send letters of support and solidarity to;

Mary Kelly
19 Inis Ealga
Shannon
Co. Clare
Ireland.

Following Mary's action, on Monday 3rd February, five members of the Catholic Worker movement cut their way into Shannon airport and again attacked the same US Navy aircraft which was under repair. "Pit Stop of Death" was painted on the hanger door and they proceeded to disarm the aircraft.
The five activists have refused to co-operate with bail conditions, have initiated a fast for peace and are calling for mass non-violent resistance
to the Irish governments complicity in the forthcoming war on Iraq.

Please send letters of support and solidarity to each of these prisoners;
Deirdre Clancy, Karen Fallon, Damien Moran, Nuin Dunlop and Ciaron O'Reilly
at:

Limerick Gaol,
Mulgrave Street,
Limerick,
Co. Clare,
Ireland.
