Ta polasai i bhfeidhim againn - ma ta sliocht foilsithe ar 4 suiomhanna IMC, deirtear go bhfuil se "crossposted". El Fondo Monetario Internacional (FMI) se topó
ayer con un problema inesperado en Argentina. Jorge Francisco Baca Campodónico, miembros de la delegación del FMI y
exministro de Finanzas del presidente peruano Alberto Fujimori, fue detenido por la Interpol a requerimiento de la justicia de
su país. Baca Campodónico es investigado por corrupción, ocultación de pruebas y vinculación con el exasesor de Fujimori,
Vladimiro Montesinos.
El exministro peruano había sido enviado a Argentina como parte de la avanzadilla de un grupo
técnico del FMI que el próximo lunes analizará la renegociación de los contratos del Estado de las empresas públicas
privatizadas. Baca Campodónico fue informado en los tribunales de Buenos Aires de los cargos en su contra. El Cuarto
Juzgado Anticorrupción de Perú lo declaró "reo contumaz". El
juez federal argentino Rodolfo Canicoba Corral debe decidir si lo extradita a Lima. Mientras Baca era llevado a los tribunales,
el presidente argentino, Eduardo Duhalde, culpó al FMI del estallido social en Bolivia que provocó 22 muertos.
