The ‘direct action’ at Shannon ABOUT THE GAAW BULLETIN GALWAY PUBLIC MEETING INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION IN HEADFORD ROAD AREA GALWAY CITY STREET ACTIVITY INTER-DENOMINATIONAL PRAYER VIGIL AT SHANNON LOUGHREA STREET ACTIVITY GALWAY TRADE UNIONISTS AGAINST WAR DUBLIN DEMONSTRATION, 15 FEBRUARY If enough people show their opposition, it is still possible to prevent the war. In the Irish context, those who march on 15 February will be showing solidarity with the people of Iraq and with millions of opponents of war internationally. They will also be demanding of the Irish government that it votes against war at the UN, and that it ceases allowing Shannon airport to be used for the purposes of war.
