The perspective from the Associated Press - manages to get a Red-scare slur on the CWM, calls the shinners 'ultranationalist' (not a fan of shinners, but that they certainly ain't) and makes reference to "overpowering the guard". Five arrested after second ax, hammer attack on U.S. Navy plane in Ireland By SHAWN POGATCHNIK, Associated Press Writer DUBLIN, Ireland - Police arrested five anti-war activists Monday on suspicion of overpowering a guard and attacking a U.S. Navy (news - web sites) plane with axes and hammers, the second such assault against American military flights through this officially neutral nation. The latest arrests embarrassed Prime Minister Bertie Ahern and underscored inadequate security at Shannon Airport in southwest Ireland, where U.S. planes have been landing and refueling daily for the past 16 months en route to Afghanistan (news - web sites) and the Middle East.

Jump To Comment: 1 2'RED ARMY' OF CRABS
The United Nations may be called in to tackle a marching army - of giant crabs.
A "Red Army" of monster crabs is marching west from the Russian Arctic. They have already 'invaded' Norway and scientists have no idea where they will stop.
One far-fetched theory even says the crabs may eventually march far enough south to threaten the beaches of southern Europe.
Crustacean explosion
An estimated 12 million king crabs, descendants of stock brought from the Pacific Ocean under a Stalin-era scheme, are scuttling into the Atlantic after a mystery crustacean population explosion off north Russia.
The crabs were originally an experimental food source for the barren northwest Soviet Union.
But they have ravaged their way about 310 miles along Norway's Arctic coast in just 10 years.
And no one knows how far south the seabed stormtroopers will get before the water gets too warm or they run into tougher predators.
Three feet long
Though these crabs are hardly defenceless - some of them are more than three feet long from claw-tip to claw-tip.
The World Wildlife Federation has suggested a fishing free-for-all to stop the crabs, a delicacy known as Kamchatka crabs or Red King Crabs.
It also wants the United Nations, via its Convention on Biological Diversity, to put pressure on Oslo to halt the crawl. (from Skysnooze)

They also say a pre-emptive strike by the king prawn government may also be on the cards. They have been receiving aid from the US recently, and may act unilateraly to halt the Red menace. A king prawn spokesman said 'they may taste nice but they don't belong here, so we think thats reason enough to nuke them'.
