All the texts sent were of the one voice, they all thought the State Dept. spokeperson was useless.

Cork meeting was very good. Room full. all speakers were excellent.
One important point raised (by Ciaron O' Reilly) was to continuously support those who have taken direct action and are suffering the wrath of the state/law, especially those in jail.
There was a guy there the image of the actor Brendan Gleeson - anyone know was it him?
Everybody keep up the pressure. The media coverage of the Shannon invasion is, I think, in danger of waning, unless more pressure is exerted. Most articles on tv/papers seem to tail off at the end with some government minister saying "ah sure it's harmless, they're just passing through". The general public are therefore going to be of this opinion too, unless in their minds they can be forced to LINK DIRECTLY THESE US SOLDIERS WITH THE BLOOD AND GUTS THAT WILL BE SPILLED IN IRAQ. Much imagery of blood and death is called for.

The facts are that this country is in contravention of the Geneva convention by allowing hostile Aircraft to use our airspace to attack another country. We also stand a very real chance of becoming a target as a result of this illegal behaviour by our 'government' and condoned by most 'opposition' politicans and parties.
