Become self reliant! Buy nothing ! What a load of shite.

what is your responce to capitalism? Is it go back to feudalism like these people where we all grow our own food and abandon technology? Or do you want to go forward, socialise the economy and use technology for the benefit of ordinary people?

Isn't that exactly what's wrong with the world nobody does anything, and then as if that wasn't bad enough when some people do something, people like you say "OOH but what's the point"

The point is great floods start with single drops of water and look whats great floods can do, this site alone is proof that something is changing in peoples attitudes, you obviously didn't live in this country 10 or 15 years ago when even the thought of standing against the status quo and dogma sent people running to the confessional.

Things are changing Giulia, so either you join the flood or stick your head in the ground and drown when the waters rise around you. If anyone disputes this fact just think about how many people, 500,000 (marching in any city) really is! think about the millions of euros of damage caused by the torching of department stores in Sweden the other day, bombs in stores in the netherlands???

When people stick there heads in the ground! when governments don't realise the power held by the people! they just keep pushing till it blows up in there face literally, Change is coming whether we like it or not Giulia it always has, but this time change is less important as an evolutionary fact, than a existential necessity. Today things must change if the human race has any hope of survival. If you don't believe me, just sit there on the fence and watch this space,
THIS FLOOD IS GLOBAL NOW

Someone actually went and defaced a wall with "Buy Nothing Day" and "Become Self Reliant"... I hope you're proud of your actions.

Is it any wonder that 99.99% of the people of Dublin think the BND crowd are nothing more than a bunch of posh crusty twats, with far too much time of their hands, and a need to expunge their upper-middle-class guilt.

Like many people I find it difficult to do much shopping or to carry it home due to the 20% fare (robbery) increases on Dublin Bus. So while I agree with what you say, it is somewhat irrevelant to
many of us!
