The prosecution of a man for burning the Qur'an shows how Islamic blasphemy codes are becoming embedded in criminal law. Coming up with a legal definition of 'Islamophobia' will accelerate this process, says Sam Bidwell.

Isreal Towards Collapse

Israel Towards Collapse

Never since the creation of the Zionist entity has the crisis been so severe. So severe in fact that American imperialism needs to intervene in the Middle East to change the balance of forces in its favour. But the apprehension of American imperialism is contingent in the final analysis on awareness of its historical impasse. This is no longer the 1970's when American imperialism could support its puppets in the Lebanon or its puppets in Israel and frighten the Arabs into submission.

If the resistance in the Lebanon led to the partial withdrawal of America from the region and the first intifada brought the impasse into Israel, the second intifada is the deathknell of the Zionist entity. On the surface appearance of things the Palestinians are in the worst position in four decades, since the last settler state was created, with the rise of the American Empire. But a closer analysis reveals two things. Israel's cover is being blown. It is no longer the so-called only democratic state in the region. It has evicted all the Palestinians within its midst and it is building a wall to garrison itself. The only other such parallel in history is the example of Prussia. A militarised state whose sole purpose was the extension of war.

Sharon, the mad dog of Zionism, has called repeatedly for the expulsion of the 3 million Palestinians into Jordan and for the US to launch a war against Iraq. He has even been quoted as saying that the "Arabs may indeed have the oil but we have the matches!" If and when the war begins and Sharon expels the Palestinians, Israels true colours will be there for all to see. Such a development, tragic as it will be, will create a vacuum in the Middle East. As societies abhor vaccuums, someone has to fill it. In order to see the probable developments one has to once more revert to the past.

When in the 1970's the Zionists supported the Christian Phalangists in the Lebanon and sought to destroy the growth of Palestinian nationalism by destroying their political representatives, the PLO, what they achieved was the exact opposite of what they started out to do in the first place. Indeed after the Phalangists found a brick wall in the Palestinian camps, they called for Israel's intervention. Then the Zionists called for Americas. After each successive intervention more resistance, not less ocurred. After a time Israel had to leave the Lebanon with its tail between its legs.

The first intifada can now be viewed in the same light. Zionism was weakened on its home turf, but the vacillations of the Arab leaders enabled it some breathing space. The outbreak of the 2nd intifada though set everyones plans out of the window. Sharon has as much power in quelling this intifada as he had in quelling the resistance in the Lebanon or the first intifada. Hence the necessity of US intervention once more to coerce and frighten the Arab masses into submission arises. Hence the necesity of painting every 'terrorist' act as an act of desperate Arabs... But the desperation is in the ranks of Zionism.

Military coercion by its very nature only has limited effects. Fascism could develop to the extent it developed internally. Once it started to globalise, it started to unravel. Zionism has already surpassed that stage. We are witnessing its death throes. It is stuck between a rock and hard place. But because harakiri was never the preferred option of settlers, fire and brimstone will be their future, as it is their present.

Victory to the Intifada!
Down with the Zionism!

If the Palestinians have any justice in their cause, why do they regularly kill children on purpose? There is something seriously wrong with their cause. Especially from a nation that prefers to send its own kids out to die just so they can kill. They dont deserve a state. They deserve to be removed from the realm of humanity.

you rancid freak. I'm sure the innocent dead on all sides can take comfort that their terminations were merely the fabrications of a dominant imperialist paradigm.

I'm sure they would fucking love to know that. Hell. That'll make it all so much better. Hey. I'm not really dead. I'm an imperialist fabrication. Or to reverse it, hey, I'm not really dead. I'm an anti Zionist fabrication. So thats all right then. I'll just get on with mowing the fucking lawn. Now if I could just find my goddamn legs.

You know the parts I particularly enjoyed in that so called article of yours...it was all the parts which said "kill, kill, kill." That was really the emotional kernel. A beautiful message. Y'know, war-mongering really is the pinnacle of our civilisation. Its great. I can look at the world, and say, honestly to myself, theres no problem that can't be solved by saying "We'll drive the fuckers into the sea. Or hey, maybe we'll bomb them into the stoneage." Killing sorts out all sorts of problems. It always has. Especially when it is completely and utterly random.

I found your fire and brimstone comment particularly rational. Non biased too. Strange how a near psychotic propensity for violence on a wholly random basis, and savage bias seem, to go hand in hand. No explanation for it myself. But hey, you're the voice of experience on this one, hell, maybe you can illuminate us? Journalistically speaking, you're an imbecile.

By the way, I called your article, and its ideas, such as they are, a sack of shit. I'm sick and tired of fuckers who want to kill for their ideals. You wanna die for your own ideals. Fine. I sure as hell wouldn't stop. But your assinine, cretinous idealism, blessed with all the clear and lucid vision of a masturbating imbecile, has no right to sacrifice anyone else on the altar of what you think is right.

I suggest that if you get within shouting distance of sanity, you post another article. If we can hear you, from whatever quagmire of fanatic resolve you've managed to mire the ragged shreds of your mind in, we might wander along and try to pull you out.

I wont call you a freak as I dont even know you or a pile of shit as that would be a luxury wasted on yourself.
I will just add that in wars people take sides. The myth of the 'innocent bystander' is the excuse perpetrated by imperialism to justify its interventions either directly or indirectly (as in the case of the Zionist entity).

If you had a point to make about the article instead of prattling on about how nice it is to stand on a wall and observe the 'barbaric' masses struggle it out, unlike your 'enlightened' self you might contribute to a discussion. Instead your invectives support your hostilith to the struggle for liberation and in a sense in the dawning of an era, that of Zionism.

You ignorant freak.

People like you will eventually be the death of us all. Victory obsessed jingoists, evolutionary throwbacks in the development of civilisation, whose condition for victory is to drag us all down to the same level of binary barbarism.

Your thinking is limited. Your either/or, black and white, good and evil postulations bespeak a mind unwilling, or unable to process the raw and complex data of reality. And idealist in a violently Platonic sense. Perfectly prepared to sacrifice everyone else on the altar of what you think is right.

A quick summary of your position? "I revel in death. For I am a paranoid and addled little freak. I think at the level of propaganda. Thats how cognitively developed I am.

The inadequacy of your thought processes disgusts me. A smaller price than those who have the bear the brunt of the consequences of your philosophy - both your enemies and your compatriots.

Traditionally, it is the non participants who suffer most in war. On all sides. The sooner your non participants fully realise this, and manage to break the cycle that your effortless thoughts escalate, the sooner you and your kind become redundant relics of a barbaric history.

Ones constant hope is that endemic imbecility will be consigned by progress to the rubbish bin of history. But hell, some shit just seems to crawl back out of the pile.

All of the abve is no endorsement, or denial of the sovereign or individual rights of either side in the conflict. In fact, the attitude abhorred is equally available for comment on both sides.
