Sure they only found thousand of pages of IRA intelligence at his gaff.

author by pat cpublication date Thu Nov 21, 2002 13:47author address author phone Report this post to the editors

his fingerprints are not on any of the documents.

do you really believe that if he was ira director of intelligence & was simultaneously workin as sf head of admin in stormont he'd keep thousands of docs in a duffle bag in his house?

that sort line is swallowed only by the dimmer Sun readers.

it is spread by people who hold personal grudges & know better.

Even Adams has conceded that its not impossible that such intelligence gathering went on, nor have I heard any of the Sinn Fein leadership mention anything about a plant. You can believe your conspiracy theories if you want, but you're simply deluding youself with you anti "Brit" prejudices

"Even Adams has conceded that its not impossible that such intelligence gathering went on, nor have I heard any of the Sinn Fein leadership mention anything about a plant. You can believe your conspiracy theories if you want, but you're simply deluding youself with you anti "Brit" prejudices"

the ira may well be collecting info, i never claimed otherwise.

however my position is that no ira intelligence chief would be so stupid to keep such docs in his own home.

it was stated in court on tues that his fingerprints had not been found on any of the docs. the prosecution accepted this. but muttered about more tests being carried out.

it is part of the defence case that the documents were planted. all of the sf leadership support this proposition.

i suppose brian keenan is motivated by anti brit prejudices as well.
