The Gaping Holes in the BBC?s ?Boiling Spring? Story Thu Mar 06, 2025 09:00 | Chris Morrison
The BBC has run a story claiming UK spring temperatures are up 1.8?C. It's alarmist agitprop straight from a Green Blob press release and it doesn't check out when you look at the facts, says Chris Morrison.

Why Are We Funding Arts Council England?s Woke Nonsense? Thu Mar 06, 2025 07:00 | Charlotte Gill
The Javaad Alipoor Company is a theatre company with a woke "nine-point manifesto that drives everything we do". Inevitably, the Arts Council is stuffing it with taxpayers' cash. Why do we fund this crap?

oil was heavy/viscous/very messy fuel-oil,biproduct of distillation for petrol and octane-used as fuel in ships eventually.
also:present wind and wave direction drives the spill eastward, but as the strong depression moves in from the north west the spill may move more northward ...that's right! towards us.
worst case wind and wave break up the spill so much harder to sponge.
the vessel was 26 years old single hull-double hulls obligatory in modern ships-however this vessel was registered in Liberia which has about 200miles of coast no industry or large ports but very liberal laws and nautical regulations...
most commercial vessels are owned from the richer nations, registered in Liberia, crewed by the world-spectrum.
they call it free trade
People in bathers on the beach, etc. Still it will make the sea more bouyant for swimming in I suppose. What do the dolphins say about it?
es, I remember Chernobyl made the lamb chops taste funny for weeks after.
The ship, with a Liberian owner sailing under a Bahamas flag, was chartered by the Swiss-based Russian oil trader and operated by a Greek maritime company.
Itīs registry details are thus in the Bahamas.
This is known as a "flag of convenience".
The Diane sank off the coast of Brittany in 1999, the unemployed of France within "bus" distance were marshalled and sent to clean the beaches along wth students. Pay was relatively high. Several of my squatting community in London made the return journey to France to clean the Breton beaches of crude. In Spetember of 1999, the French government was exposed as not sharing itīs knowledge of the toxicity of the spill. neither the students nor the unemployed cleaners had been given adecquate protective clothing. They are now party to a law suit still in progress against the French State and live under heightened risk of cancer.
For information on ship registry details contact the World Maritime Organisation Albert Embankment London. A list of maritime authorities is available online, but the Bahamas is not on the list, nor is Ireland come to that.
Mathematical modelling on weather and sea systems began within two hours of the reported hull breach. Extra considerations include magnetic and tectonic anomolies in the sea bed area. Thatīs why the Dutch salvage comapany sought to bring the ship much further out.
Pandabear is going to be very busy with this one.
Crude Oil breaks down into solidified carbon material which is still found on beaches twenty thirty years later (how much time do you have?).
Six commercial sattelites are presently monitoring the sea area, in my article I included links to a company that provides sea charts for effected areas. Or you could trust the Irish governemnt of the marine, whose able coast guard are closely monitoring the situtation.
(Iīd stick with Pandabear, we have a grudge and therefore motivation).
It is worth mentioning that Greenpeace international have a patchy record on deepsea (11800feet/3000metres) contamination. So they are being slightly tardy with the all out condemnation.
It might also be worth mentioning that the French disastor of 1999 was followed by increased nationalism, [Breton Independence Party, 13 Rue de Tunisia, Paris...lovely folk hi from Mr Oī asif] which culminated in the bombing of a Mc Donaldīs and arrests of ecologicalists in early 2000.
Thus it would seem many of us have gone through this particular sticky patch before.
if you want to consider the maths involved think about 120,000 barrels of crude going to the uneven bottom of the sea.
Imagine a lava lamp.
as I said this is HEAVY BIG and very very CRUDE.
a Liberian captain is under Spanish arrest for a crime against the ecosytem. Is it his responsiblity alone?
Heavy people are being protected on this one.
Who?
you have to find out. My nobel prize means Icanīt spoonfeed you all the time. Check ownership of sattelite companies chartered.
Dutch readers goto Salvage co. website/records.
This oil will effect Irish "aquaculture".
and take it from me the dolphins are well fucked off.
(42š 26ī09 N 11š 24ī00 W) is where the boat is reported as being sunk.
Article by an anarchist who has worked on many such ships at http://www.infoshop.org/inews/stories.php?story=02/11/19/6525145
I didn't write that last comment.
(Its a bit weird though. Are anarchists not allowed go on holidays? Is it anti-working class to go to the beach? Someone's got a really messed up understanding of politics.)
theyīre getting to grips with threads and info streams and open newswires.
and beginning to take the piss which is also exactly what the owners of this ship are doing and the Spanish and Portugeuse authorities.
And serious activists/researchers in Ireland really could help out on this.
as I said Pandabear will be very busy with this one.

The Bretons and the Gallicians consider themselves to be part of the extended Celtic family, sharing similar geographic enviroments and ethinc cultures.
Only the West coast of IReland and the gealtacht now has an unspoiled celtic coastline.
A very serious crime has been committed against the cultural and ecological heritage of Europe.
The spoiling of the "Celtic" northwestern European fringe.
....Do you think it will be the last time?
IF the Irish donīt worry about the Sea, then what do they worry about?
hmmm
trees on OīConnell street.
the oil spill which was caused by "bad weather" in the Western European region which occured at the same time as this years most interesting meteorite shower, has caused the international community to activate ahead of schedule a little known about protocol on space co-operation and use of satelites for "civil protection" and monitoring of "ecological disaster".
go read about it at the European Space Agency.
If youīre curious about ESA look at the bottom of any uro note where u will find a map of French Guyana, administered as an integral part of France a very centralised state, ESA has the capability to put a whopping 100kg of material into space every week at considerably lower rates than their main rivals NASA. IF youīre interested in launching stuff into space, Iīd recommend ESA. One of my dead friends was cremated and his ashes were safely sent up by SA, lovely does it.
more on that curious protocol:
For the expected international clean-up efforts, future ERS-2 and Envisat imagery will be made available as part of the International Charter on Space and Major Disasters. The Charter is an international collaboration to put satellite remote-sensing technology into service for civil protection agencies and others in response to natural and man-made disasters.
The Charter was activated on 14 November by the European Commission's Civil Protection and Environmental Accidents Unit to support local authorities in Spain in monitoring the oil spill. The satellites of other agencies within the Charter, including the Canadian Space Agency and the French Space Agency, CNES, are tasked over the area as well.
and a link to a previous article with lots of cryptic clues for your continuing illumination.

ŋand has anyone noticed how jumpy we are?
Fraga [president of the Gallician autonomy] is facing a motion of censure tabled by the PSOE.
The PSOE are the opposition party in Espaņa,
roughly equivalent to the Irish Labour Party they are a social democratic centre right grouping.
Fraga was a minister in Francoīs Fascist dictatorship, and belongs like Irelandīs Paisley to the "very old professional politician club".
Fraga was also a minister in the transition government which ruled Espaņa after Francoīs death. Fraga is held by many to have been responsible like his master Franco for crimes against the environment.
Workers are clearing the beaches without adecquate protection.
People are very angry, Fraga is used to it.
it always was, but I canīt tell you that at the beginning.
the other nodal text is as you all know,
the Spetember address to the blue block on
Reclaim the Streets.
itīīs strange, I used to anarchist issues with jokes and fun.
I can write at length about much, to your annoyance but the Sea the Sea is sacred.
And iīm sad to tell you the Sea is where the WAR is now being fought.
the Sea doesnīt have an indymedia service.
so get used to many many lies.
still there.
Galizian fishing families get about 5000pts 30 each a day from the PP government, this helped "buy" the votes in the Municipal elections on 23/5/03.
In total of those who "voted" 11,000 less chose to vote for the PP in Galizia.
look at http://galizia.indymedia.org
Now they get nothing.
It is estimated by Repsol the Spanish state oil company who finally took charge replacing the multi-state effort (remember the germans and french were first on the scene--- remember the Dutch salvage company said "don't sink it in deep water") that about 15% of the oil is still in the Prestige.
Repsol have thus developed a new technique to encase the wreck in concrete, because it was sunk in deep waters, everything is complicated by higher water pressure levels. Oil still leaves everyday only a few litres they say. Bathers this summer complained in the nieghbouring Austurias region that water shortages due to global warming had closed the free showers on the Beaches. One teaspoon (5ml) of crude oil mixed with organic material makes a mess of your swimsuit and is really difficult to get out of your hair.
"Chapapote" as this crude oil mixed with "dead" organic material is called is still found at time of writing on a weekly basis on a coastline stretching from Portugal in the West to France in the East.
This man is onw of the crown heads of Europe.
He is a Bourbon. They've been wearing crowns for a really long time. He has lots of friends and lots of uniforms.
He is unusual amongst European Kings in that he got the job by being appointed succesor to a general who toppled a democratically elected government 70 years ago. That general liked being a general so much that he called himself generalissimo.
We do not know much of the life of this man in the photo, except that he smokes cigars valued at 400 each, and stays above and beyond politics.
Mostly these days he just looks bored, in a regal sort of way, and slightly bemused.
He is considered by many in his country to be the saviour of democracy because of something that happened a little over twenty years ago.
A captain of the Gaurdia Civil took over the parliament on Feb. 23 1981 and another general (who perhaps wanted to be generalissimo brought tanks out onto the street) and the telephone conversations between "insurrectionists" went something like this:
"que es Espaņa coņo!"
"sí que es Espaņa coņo!"
"coņo Espaņa!"
"Sí viva Espaņa coņo!"
Well the Young King went on TV and appealed for the restoration of democracy. And so it was, within a week the "insurrectionists" were locked up where they remain to this day in high security wings away from harm. If you live in Spain, you can see the first TV documentary on those 7 days and 7 nights, and of course listen to the "que es Espaņa coņo!" which roughly translates as
"It's Spain cunt!"
"Yes it's Spain ya cunt!"
"cunt Spain"
"Yes long live Spain cunt!"
The documentary will be screened on Antenna 3, 23h45 this thursday. The anniversary of Chile's coup d'etat, as the armed insurrection by generals who typically don't seem to be very "eloquent" has sparked lots of "looking back" by all sections of the community.
MAY WE HOPE, that those days are safely gone.
If so, then this little picture is allowable, just like that charming picture of Mrs Saxe Coburg Goethe (the Queen of England) which shows her with Jamaican skin colour.
democracy allows satire.
~ waves!
we are telling you:
* The Oil has not gone.
* The relief payments disappeared immediately after the local elections.
* The Oil is cancerous.
* The sea life will not come back.
* The owners of the Oil were not made to be liable.
* Those who cleaned the beaches now face a seriously heightened risk of developing a wide variety of cancers of both skin and lung.
* It very easily could have been different.
