A European networks place/ non place to pass through the ESF

Solicitations coming from different areas of the movement and particularly from the European networks debate (for instance the project Europ@ctionHub, born during the latest Barcelona conference October 5th, but also previous meetings in Seville, Leiden, Sredisce, Bruxelles, Copenhagen), helped the issue of an open space raise about. An open space, producing independent research and relationships, is what we think that can be suitable to go through the ESF. In this paper our intention is to clarify how the movement of disobedients will live the appointment in Firenze. In fact, rather than giving life to an identified and close space, we believe it could be appropriate to work in the construction of a movement that centres the European, not only Italian, net-working, defining variable convergences on themes and actions. This is why the place which we want to be part of, the NO WORK NO SHOP, inside Firenze’s sport structure, is to be characterized by a form of permanent workshop which focuses on the experimentation of Global Tv, a satellite tv including Europe, but also Palestine, Iraq and Turkey and which will try to activate a new frontier of independent communication. This tv will be defined by an open organisational approach which implies two daily editorial meetings and the dislocation of six independent live tv isles will reporting the forum. Therefore Global tv could work as a relational space open to all different subjects creating a new language and communication guerrilla as primary issues of their political actions.
The Global project will also build a network of radio stations operating on a satellite channel and throughout a magazine which will present its number zero issue in Firenze.
NO WORK NO SHOP other axes of discussion and experimentation are to move around the questions of knowledge and intellectual properties, income and new forms of workplace conflicts, Zapatism and diplomacy from below, Europe and migrants. At the same time NO WORK NO SHOP proposes itself as a crossable by other debate territories and as a convergence place of the European networks of the movement.
Often we described ourselves as a part of the movement and we put aside every vocation to self-sufficiency. Therefore we believe that Firenze and our choice to pass through the ESF in a non-linear way could be an occasion of sharing experiences. Especially speaking of those who, being critical about the official forum, do not want to move in a separate way.
This proposal is addressed to all subjects and networks producing conflict and radicalism which go together with the production of language and consent. Conflict is itself a mixture of inclusive and constitutive practices, capable of talking and building relations. Net-working, horizontal organization do not exclude the relation between communication and action, praxis and meaning production.
We therefore invite everybody to relate to each other on the issues here
proposed in order to build a dynamic of multiple relations in Firenze, rather
than an anorexia of them.
