I heard that Globalise Resistance are trying to organise big protests around town.
The 'convener' of GR, a bloke called Dan is trying to move away from 'SWP front' style organisation, seems like a good idea.
I don't see what all the fuss about the SWP is anyway, i'll work with them, but they know i won't join them because of my political beliefs.
I was at the mayday and the IWD protests last year, they were great, it beats the sectarian shite thats around in the north.
He's lookin for people to 'build the protests' and to 'make GR yours' or something like that.
In britain Mayday organising comittees have been setup, perhaps GR/SWP are doing the same here, I've e-mailed the belfast group, perhaps everyone should try.

Also, great news about the queen mum, hope she died a death she deserved :).

Heres the email of the group in belfast anyway, [email protected]

Organised by the Belfast Council of Trade Unions.

They did the work on the work stoppage in protest at the killing of the postal worker recently and generally organise a decent march.
