The Daily Telegraph wrote we were sinister shadowy anarchists and "anti-capitalists".
More than 7 years on people are celebrating RTS parties on the streets of their cities, housing estates and villages.
RTS still affords a catalystic "non-party political" forum to exchange ideas.
It was never just about "raving in the street" only one event was called that in Brixton 1997.
It was never just about following a sound system.
It was never just about confrontational riots or disturbance.
But we did disturb. And we shall go on.

RTS activists have taken part in every major campaign against that aggression since.
And we are still getting the mesage accross.
SWITCH OFF YOUR TV
(ITS TOXIC)
IGNORE THE LIES
GO OUT ON THE STREET
MEET OTHERS WHO FEEL LIKE YOU
and the car is the most immediate effect of social division and internalised capitalist values. so when you go out on the street

That would have been unthinkable in 1995.
When the journalists wand thinkers were hailing the death of the left, the death of protest. And laughing at the inefficiency of the greens, and ignoring the pacifists.
HEART AND MIND
The revolution finally comes to Wicklow and I'm on the other side of the world :-(
Sounds good, I go to school in Bray and have a load of friends that live in Kilcoole, I know people in Beachdale, so I'd definitly have gone. If your doing it again post it up here a few days before hand and I'll head down for sure.
