FOI Requests Govt Depts![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a list of Government Departments which Freedom of Information Requests could be sent to Regarding No Fly and exclusion from airports. Whatever about Aer Rianta, Govt Depts are covered by the FOI Act. Its important that as many people as possible send in FOI requests.
"Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 1997 I wish to request the following information: 1. Copies of all communications sent and received by your Department, since 1 January 2002, in writing, electronic, transcripts of phone calls & meetings and any other means recorded regarding the use of Aer Rianta run Airports by military aircraft. 2. Copies of all communications sent and received by your Department, since 1 January 2002, in writing, electronic, transcripts of phone calls & meetings and any other means recorded regarding the exclusion of individuals from Aer Rianta run Airports. 3. Copies of all communications sent and received by your Department, since 1 January 2002, in writing, electronic, transcripts of phone calls & meetings and any other means recorded regarding protests against military aircraft at Aer Rianta run Airports. 4. Copies of all communications sent and received by your Department, since 1 January 2002, in writing, electronic, transcripts of phone calls & meetings and any other means recorded regarding the United States of America Federal No Fly List as distributed by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration or from any other Federal U.S. Agency, Department or other body. Its worthwhile sending the same text to all of them.

i also put the following at the start of my post:
"Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 1997 I wish to request the following information: "
It is quicker and more likely to get a response to mail the freedom of information officer for each department.
The above are the webmaster of the pages so it might get through eventually.
So for instance, [email protected] is the one for the deppartnment for defence.
the others are all on the various departnmetn web pages @ www.irlgov.ie
Also a freedom of information request has to be made to the department stating that it is a freedom of information request.
