Indymedia Ireland are holding a Public Talk to coincide with the RTS on Sunday 22nd September.

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Thursday September 19, 2002 00:53author by blisset Report this post to the editors

Indymedia Ireland are holding a Public Talk to coincide with the RTS on Sunday 22nd September. The talk will deal with the following:

A brief history of Indymedia in general and Indymedia Ireland in particular.
How to get involved in Indymedia Ireland.
How Indymedia Ireland is organised.
How to publish articles etc on Indymedia Ireland.
Tips for doing the 'Indymedia' thing at events like RTS.
Lots of questions from the attendees hopefully.

The talk is free and open to all. It will take place at 1pm sharp upstairs in the Halfpenny Bridge Inn, situated on the south side of the Halfpenny Bridge. IMC'ers will be gathering from 12.30 but the talk will have to start at 1pm sharp as the RTS heads are gathering at Stephens Green Shopping Centre at 2.30 pm and good reporters are never late ;-)

The room is costing Indymedia Ireland E15 to rent so a little donation would be welcome though not necessary. We may be broke but we are not Meanies.

Any questions - post them below this notice using the comments button.

Blisset (1 of IMC IRL)
