NOTE: DATE CHANGED TO FRIDAY 27TH NOV. VENUE IS THE SAME
We want to invite all activist, activist groups, community groups and organizations to the second Galway Activist Meet-Up
on Friday 27th November from 6pm
in the Galway Traveller Movement office, 1 The Plaza, Headford Rd, Galway

We want to continue the process of bringing activists and groups together that we started at the first meeting. We have set up an email list, but we need to make some decisions on how we run things and which from the many ideas that were gathered we want to pursue.

Invitation Poster to 2nd Galway Grassroots Meet-Up 2015

NOTE: DATE CHANGED TO FRIDAY 27TH NOV. VENUE IS THE SAME.
The meeting features activist notice board for skills and events, a solidarity round, focusing on our ideas. Also, we want to pick up the idea of a regular party as a way of connecting, so we will do that after the formal part ends. We will decide on that together during the meeting.

Therefor we invite all to come to the next meeting. Again, the meeting will balance building personal connections and more formal networking. We invite you to bring a (vegan, if possible) snack along for a small potluck, we will provide tea.

Hope to see many of you there!
If you can't come but would like to be involved / join the email list, please write to [email protected]

Summary of the first meeting:
All groups and activists were invited to come together to strengthen our connections in the face of our struggles against austerity, neoliberalism, patriarchy and racism.
The basis of the meeting was the idea that working together is crucial not only to support one another and act in solidarity, but also to be more effective in our campaigning for social justice, equality and rights.
