Why are climate alarmists so impervious to facts, so averse to rational cost-benefit analysis? It has all the hallmarks of a religious cult, says James Allan. They can't let it go because it gives meaning to their lives.

Catholic church another crime

800 little children thrown into septic tank

The catholic church the main church of capitalism, undemocratic, anti women, has been exposed as throwing 800 young children into a septic tank in Tuam, Ireland.

Comrades I am wondering more about this issue. What are the left and revolutionary forces saying. IT is being condemned by everybody just about. So just condemnation is entirely inadequate. What demands should be raised?

In the North an end to segregated and religious schooling? In Ireland over all an end to religious organizations controlling and running schools and hospitals. A call on all people to give up membership in organizations which discriminate against women and a call to all people to leave sectarian organizations such as the Catholic and Protestant churches and the Orange Order and knights of Columbus etc. For those people who cannot leave organizations such as the Catholic church take up a struggle inside them to democratize them, that is elect all leaders, and end the discrimination against women and the ban on marriage. A full criminal investigation into the killings of the 800 children. Any statute of limitations law that might exist to move a bill in the Dail to overturn this. If the churches are not taxed then full taxation. Full taxation of all religious organizations. For a secular socialist Ireland.

These are just a few ideas.

What are is the left doing about this? I think I see that some FF man tried and failed to get a Dail debate on the issue. Is it possible that the left TD's are letting this happen, that is let the FF man lead!!. i think there should be a united front of the left and democratic forces in the Dail to force this on to the Dail floor. Sit in and direct action to be used. If this is not done then the left forces can be seriously damaged by this they will be seen as taking no effective action.

This is world news. It is being talked about just about everywhere. it is a major blow to the main church of capitalism and this new fraud in the Vatican who is trying to renew the image of this pro capitalist organization. A few days ago he said people should have children not pets. That does not seem such a good slogan for him now.

Then there is the North. The sectarian Protestant organizations will be having a field day with this. We told you so will be the refrain. Not refrain. The crescendo. There has to be an alternative voice to come from the South and the non Protestant and workers' organizations. It has to be unequivocal and clear. Direct action to force this on to the Dail floor and mass protests at Catholic church organizations in the South.

Many of these ideas and demands and suggestions may be wrong. But something has to be done. This is a major major blow to capitalism and its powerful organization in Southern Ireland. The left must take action.
