INFO

EFT by THOMAS BURNS (JUNE and JULY)
EFT is a meridian energy technique similar to acupuncture. It assumes
that there is always an emotional component to physical problems and
that by tapping on certain acupuncture points and releasing the
emotion, the physical ailment subsides.
You don't need to know anything about EFT or to believe in it to
benefit from the group. Group work allows the healing to go deeper, it
allows past traumas to be resolved and new insights into yourself to
be born. And it's fun too!
Come along to this monthly tapping circle hosted by EFT practitioner
Thomas Burns and see how you can begin to start applying this
wonderfully simple technique in all areas of your life.

MARINA BILAK: SHIATSU WORKSHOP/INTRO
Shiatsu has become part of my lifestyle and I am all too happy to pass on any aspect to others. I have been practicing shiatsu since 2003, obtaining my diploma in 2005 from The Irish School of Shiatsu after a three year Shiatsu Practitioner Course. Shiatsu is a holistic therapy that originates from Japan, and is influenced by Chinese and Western knowledge. It is based on similar principles to acupuncture, but the shiatsu practitioner will use their hands rather than needles. Shiatsu acts to rebalance the body's energy channels of vital energy, to promote your well-being, support good health and prevent illness. It is given through loose comfortable clothing and may include stretches and rotations of limbs and joints."

PAOLA CATIZONE
http://www.paolacatizone.c..om/
Paola Catizone is an Italian-Spanish artist based in Dublin, who has
worked in the field of body awareness and movement for 25 years. Here
you will find news on the work she carries out with groups and
individuals, or personally through the mediums of Art, more
specifically painting, and of Body Awareness; Yoga and Movement.

NIGEL WOOD
http://www.rte.ie/radio1/wideworld/
Presenting World Music from a whole host of cultures around the world,
from their traditional roots to modern contemporary styles. Each week
Nigel Wood will put the spotlight on a different area of the globe and its musical forms. Most of the music played on these programMEs will be from new and recent releases, so that this series is an up-to-the-minute snapshot of what is available out there for the cultural adventurer.
Nigel Wood is a specialist in World Music. He has presented 'Ear to
the Globe', a comprehensive weekly guide to new World Music releases and touring artists for five years on Dublin City Anna Livia FM. He presented Nigel Wood's World Order on RTÉ Radio 1 in 2005. He also provides World Music for the dance floor, hosting the Wicklow Dance Club, as well as other club nights, and providing multi-cultural rhythms for many events and festivals.
