TEEU rejects treaty over real practical concerns in relation to workers rights. The premise of their argument is the ambiguity surrounding the right to industrial action for those working in 'goods and services'. Other concerns include the acceptance of unequal wages for migrant workers in the 'goods and services' industry. Several judgements from the European Court have fallen in favour of Employers. The court recently found that a Polish subcontractor operating in Germany was entitled to pay workers less than half the agreed minimum wage for the construction sector, because the right to provide unrestricted services took priority over collective wage agreements.
