There are two types of Australian today, the pre-Howard traditional Aussie and the Howard infected diseased group of cringing cowards. Take note you gutless wonders. If you think the Howard disease will endure and you’re safe, then think again. Howard’s survival depends on the degree to which the consciousness of the people has been permanently altered. What residual or lasting effects do you think Howard will leave on the consciousness of the people? Almost none, if history is consistent! ... read full story / add a comment

UK Prime Minister Tony Blair warned in a speech in London on Monday night that rich countries should see "past a narrow view of self-interest" in the current Doha Round trade talks and not allow "differences over support for agriculture...to block an agreement that could give renewed hope to the 1 in 5 people in the world living on less than $1 a day." French President Jacques Chirac has threatened to veto European Union concessions and his stance has been supported by Irish Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Bertie Ahern. ... read full story / add a comment

France’s state of emergency—Sarkozy threatens mass deportations By Antoine Lerougetel 12 November 2005 Use this version to print | Send this link by email | Email the author French Minister of the Interior Nicolas Sarkozy has given a clear racist coloration to the state of emergency, which was imposed at midnight on November 8. The following day, he explained to the National Assembly his instructions to the préfets (regional central government officials), whose task it is to carry out the police repression of the suburban youth revolt that has been raging in France’s council estates for over two weeks “I have told the préfets that foreigners, who are legal or illegal immigrants, who have been indicted, are to be expelled immediately from our territory, including those who have a residence permit,” Sarkozy said. “When one has the honour of possessing a residence permit, the least that you can say is that you won’t get yourself a ... read full story / add a comment

I read the text of the this speech firstly with amusement and scorn but then with growing concern followed by shock then revulsion and finally REAL fear and terror. I cannot empahise how disturbed and sick I feel now. This man is not just an idiot - He is evil incarnate and brimming with the most poisonous self-righteousness imaginable. He is not pretending - he actually believes what he is saying. Anybody who is concerned about the future of the world must read this monstrous speech - It is even worse than the infamous "Axis of Evil" State of the Union address of 2002. It does not auger well for Palestine or Iran or Syria or the human rights in the Middle East. I have encluded the entire text. Read it closely and with awe at how far gone this guy and his country really are. Bulk of text removed by editor. This speech is widely available on the internet. I have added the link ... read full story / add a comment

When forced to produce, what do we get? The same fanatic imbeciles that were paraded on the local media after the London bombings and some others armed with PVC pipe, ‘sticky-tape and chewing gum’! Compare these outcomes with real bombings in George St. Sydney, in the seventies. Most Australians are aware that, like all other nations, we have always had our share of extremist fanatics, they can be easily located in mosques, churches and synagogues around the nation. There is nothing new in this regard; the existence of social misfits does not warrant the implementation of draconian policies on a national level. ... read full story / add a comment
