Amnesty International has gathered testimony from people still struggling to rebuild their lives following Operation “Cast Lead”, which killed around 1,400 Palestinians and injured thousands more. Unless the muscle of the US and its government can be turned around and Obama starts listening to his emissary George Mitchell and to a lesser degree Ms Clinton there will be no real change either in Gaza , the border crossings or any hope of Israeli compliance with International Justice and humanity. ![]() ![]() Privileged officers of the State getting generous pensions, having taken an oath to the State or to their profession have chosen to go on strike in a wave of rolling industrial actions which set out to subvert some of the most essential services in the State. In other circumstances this would be deemed sedition .
