The UNITE trade union has unearthed detail from the budget published yesterday which shows that landlords, shareholders or self employed and company directors who earn €1 million a year will incredibly be six per cent better off after changes to tax breaks and the replacement of the income and health levies with a Universal Social Charge that is “anything but social in its impact on those at the opposite extremes of Irish society”. read full story / add a comment

NZ was saved by the emerging truth of human rights omissions and one of life's miracles, the major Christchurch earthquake (no one killed).
