The anniversary of Zimbabwe’s independence comes at a time of great turmoil in that country. Amnesty International, Trócaire, Christian Aid and the Association of European Parliamentarians for Africa have come together in organizing an ecumenical prayer service for peace and justice in Zimbabwe. Concerned citizens protesting against the ongoing destruction of Tara and its Sacred Valley in County Meath in Ireland say that they have received reports of another possible push by SIAC/FERROVIAL thugs to destroy still more of the ancient Monument at Rath Lugh.
